Happy Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my blog friends. I have been a terrible blogger this year but I am still reading, even if I am not responding.

This season has been a difficult one for me. It is the first without my mom's mom. She was always such an important part of the holiday.

Love to all,

Mary and Kiran

the first year without a loved one is rough--all the holidays are a little hollow.

this year is the 5th anniversary of my dad's death on December 26th. it has changed Christmas for me, but not in a bad way, just in a quiet way.

i wish you company that makes you feel loved and cherished!

p.s. i sure liked seeing the dance recital pic of Kiran. you are doing a great job, Mom!

This is the third Christmas without my mother. How I wish she were here to meet her three new granddaughters who all arrived this year. She would have been so happy and proud of them.

It is very difficult to not have loved ones during the holidays. I am sorry this is, has been, a painful time for you.

I'm just an email away.

Now there is a holiday picture I've been waiting for!

Thank you so very very much for sharing that lovely photo!

There has been some missing loved ones this year, but between overtime and "the whirl" it hasn't been as bad as it is some years...

I'm sure on the road this weeknd it will all start!

She is so cute Mary.
I know how hard it is at Christmas time when you lose someone close.
My dad died on Dec. 15th 1962 and Christmas has never been the same for me.
This yearI am dealing with the loss of my 23 year old great niece.
My brothers only grand daughter..it isn't easy.
I hope you can find some joy.
Be careful going North, my brother will be traveling the opposite direction from Superior to Mankato
Merry Christmas to you and Kiran
